1. Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to Ledger & Co. These Terms and Conditions govern your engagement of our small business bookkeeping and financial organization services. By signing an agreement with us or submitting your financial documents for processing, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms in full.

2. Description of Services

Ledger & Co. specializes in providing dedicated bookkeeping services to small business owners. Our primary focus is keeping your business finances organized through accurate transaction categorization, monthly reconciliation, and the preparation of standard financial statements.

Important Notice: We strictly avoid providing or implying any personal financial advice. Our services do not include wealth management, investment strategy, or individual tax advising. All services are strictly intended for business record-keeping and operational clarity.

3. Client Responsibilities

To ensure accurate and timely bookkeeping, you agree to provide full and honest disclosure of your business financial activities. This includes submitting receipts, bank statements, and relevant invoices by our agreed-upon monthly deadlines. You are responsible for ensuring that all documents provided belong strictly to your business operations and are not intermingled with personal expenses.

4. Fees and Payment Terms

Our bookkeeping services are billed on a flat monthly retainer or an hourly basis, as defined in your onboarding agreement. Invoices are issued on the first business day of the month and are due within 14 days of receipt. We reserve the right to pause ongoing bookkeeping services if accounts become past due.

5. Confidentiality and Data Security

We take the privacy of your business financials seriously. Ledger & Co. will never share, sell, or disclose your financial records to third parties without your explicit written consent, except where required by law. 6. Limitation of Liability

While we strive for complete accuracy in maintaining your ledgers, Ledger & Co. relies on the information provided by you. We are not liable for any financial losses, penalties, or audit findings that result from missing, inaccurate, or delayed documentation supplied by your business.

7. Amendments to Terms

We may periodically update these Terms to reflect changes in our processes or legal requirements. When significant changes occur, we will notify active clients in writing at least 30 days before the new terms take effect.
